Complaints feature release

NPDESPro recently released its newest feature, Complaints, for MS4s to manage, track, and report on stormwater related complaints. For current users, this feature may seem familiar. Prior to this update, NPDESPro’s IDDE module contained a similar feature called “Potential Issues” that allowed users to log complaints for illicit discharge issues.

Source Control program improvements

The NPDESPro team has been focused on making improvements to our Source Control module in preparation for the January 2023 program deadline. On the improvements list was creating a way for users to log and track complaints received and responded to for both IDDE and Source Control programs.

With Complaints, you can now:

• Manage and record complaints for both IDDE and/or Source Control

• Create IDDE investigations or Source Control inspections from logged complaints

• View Complaints metrics (# of Complaints Received, # of Complaints Responded to, etc.) in reports
